What was the first concert you attended? Donovan.

What was your first album? I had older brothers and sisters so I didn't have to buy my own for awhile. I did buy all the stuff I liked that they took with them including Sgt. Peppers and Led Zeppelin.

Who would you want to meet that you have never met? I've met most of my heroes but I never met Joni Mitchell.

What instrument would you like to play, that you never have? Violin.

If you were making a documentary film, what rock subject would it be on? The impact music has had on politics and culture.

Who is/was the biggest influence in your life (not necessarily in your career)? Other than family, Bruce Springsteen and Bono.

What was the first radio station you listened to? Radio Luxembourg.

Highlight in your career? Working with CW.

“Ah shit! I should have…” Gone to that art gallery to meet Joni Mitchell but I worked mornings, it was a very rainy Monday night and the Steelers were on Monday Night Football. Epic Fail on my part.

What was the First Concert you attended? The Banana Splits at the Hawaii State Fair. My mind was “blown” for the rest of my life!

What was your first album? The Monkees - my grandmother bought it for me (probably her only time in a head shop).

What was the first radio station you listened to? KFRC (San Francisco).

What was the first radio station you worked at? KSJO in San Jose, CA - when they were rock!

Who is/was the biggest influence in my life? My dad - he was a very Buddhist man - I learned a lot about unconditional love.

Who would you like to meet that you never had a chance to? John Lennon - he was a very compassionate and loving man! His lyrics were/are amazing!

What was/is the highlight of your career? I have had so many incredible moments and opportunities! I am very blessed! I loved working with the radio fans. Being able to give someone a special opportunity (prize) - like the time one of the fans won a new car, and she broke down in tears telling us that her old car (of 250,000 miles) broke down on the way to the concert. Those kind of moments give me a warm heart and make me realize that I live my life with dignity. Oh, ya, and meeting Bruce Springsteen!

“Ah shit! I should have”… seen the Grateful Dead.
