Show - 003 Dramarama - John Easdale - Lead Singer & one of the founding members

This episode we are speaking with one of the founding members and the lead singer John Easdale of Dramarama. John was kind enough to drop by our studio to talk about the history of the band, the break-up and the reforming of the band, how drugs played a part in his life, what it’s like having Bruce Springsteen open for you and his love of music. Dramarama has been around since the mid 80s and has had such hits as, Last Cigarette, Wonderamaland, Haven’t Got A Clue, Everybody Dies, Scenario, Some Crazy Dame and the biggest that is still played everywhere: Anything Anything!  If you haven’t heard of Dramarama, or even if you have, you are in for a real treat.

SHOW NOTES:

This was our very first show we recorded. We did do the bonus round with John at the end of the interview, although, we weren’t giving out any prizes at the time because it didn’t hit us. Don’t worry John, we will send you your prize!

The bands new album was suppose to be released in 2019 (as John mentions in the interview) but unfortunately, it has been delayed, so check their site in early 2020 for updated information, In the meantime, you can check out Dramarama’s new songs:
